Operation Make Josh Attractive: Weeks 2 & 3

So the weekly update didn't happen, but here is the update for weeks 2 and 3.

If you haven't read week 1, go to Operation Make Josh Attractive: Week 1.

Week 2

Food

This week I followed basically the same diet as week one. Instead of chicken, I had steak. I ended up doing more than 1 cheat meal this week: 1 at lunch on Thursday when we went to Desi Wok where I had Schezuan Chicken, and 2 at lunch on Saturday when we went to Pei Wei where I had the Spicy Korean. I also ate about 15 chips with salsa with my lunch on Friday; I simply couldn't resist them.

Exercise

My exercises for the week were the same as the week before with a few changes. The walking on Monday-Wednesday-Friday was increased to 25 minutes, and the stairs-squats-bucks (I found out the pelvic thrust thing is called a double leg buck) on Tuesday-Thursday increased to 3 sets of 1-5-5.

Weight

My weight on Sunday, March 28th at 8 AM was down to 380 lbs. It was only a loss of three pounds from the previous week. I believe it was probably the multiple cheat meals that led to the smaller gain.

Week 3

Food

This week I got back on track with my meals. I substituted my sandwich for a can of soup on Monday. For our Thursday lunch, we went back to Rib Crib and this time I got the smoked chicken salad (as opposed to the crispy chicken salad), but I couldn't resist eating the tortilla strips but I still did really well on my ranch intake.

Sunday lunch was my cheat meal. I invited several people over to my house to enjoy some burritos. Ten people showed up and I cooked 5 lbs of hamburger which was basically enough. I ate 4 burritos myself which probably ended up being more than a pound of meat, and who knows how much cheese, onion, and sour cream.

Exercise

I believe I am getting better at the exercises. We did some more intense stretches this week though. Some of the stretches left me felling dizzy, but that is a side effect of the two blood pressure medications that my doctor prescribed. Next time I see him, I will have to find out if there is anything we can do about that.

The walking increased to 30 minutes this week, and the stairs-squats-bucks increased to 5 sets of 1-7-7.

Weight

My weight on Sunday, April 4th at 8 AM was down to 373.2 lbs. That was a loss of over 7 pounds for the week. Not too shabby. Lets hope I can keep this rate going.
