Operation Make Josh Attractive: Week 13

Week 13 is over and it is time for another update.

Week 13

Food

I have mostly followed the meal plan for the week. I had a Freckles frozen custard on Sunday afternoon. I had Desi Wok on our Thursday lunch. We had grilled brats for lunch on Thursday. I ended up eating four of them.

Exercise

Monday my exercises stayed the same as the previous week's. However, the workouts on Wednesday and Friday were completely new. It began with split squats; 5 for each side with a 10 lb weight in each hand. This was combined with single leg bucks; 5 each leg. There were three sets of these with a 1 minute rest in between. It continued with push ups (the “girl” kind); 5 on the first day and 10 on the other. They were combined with something I don't know the name of. It involved planting my feet on the floor with my shoulders on the exercise ball. I then held a 20 lb weight with both hands and dropped it down behind me and pulled it back up above me. I did 10 reps. There were 3 sets of these as well with a 1 minute rest in between. Next up was something called a three-way. I also did three sets with the same amount of rest between for these. The final new one was core exercises; one facing down and one for each side. I did two sets of these.

I missed both of my running days. I missed Tuesday because the concrete people were here putting in my new driveway. I missed Thursday because of a lack of time.

Weight

My weight on Sunday, June 13th at 8 AM dropped to 339.8 lbs. That is about a 5 lb drop. Not bad.
